Brand Protection - Technologies Overview
At Payne Security we have developed a host of technologies, ‘the toolbox’ for applications and products defined by our customers. These technologies come in a range of formats, but broadly consist of holograms, security print techniques and Patron® security inks.
Overt features enable instant authentication of products through visual inspection by the user. Our design studio employs the latest computer systems and software to incorporate sophisticated features to banknote standards which are difficult for forgers to replicate. These, combined with optically variable features such as colour shift inks or holographic devices within the design, enable the product to be validated both quickly and easily.
Payne Security's overt technical approaches include:
- Holographic – De-metallised, Fully Metallised & HRI
- Colour Shift Inks
- Security Guilloche & Fine Line Design
Covert techniques such as Infra Red and Ultra Violet pigments, microtext and unique synthetic tagging are invisible, difficult to detect and replicate without specialist detection equipment. They provide a higher level of protection, while our forensic capability includes use of molecular markers. These markers can only be identified with laboratory equipment, but offer complete confidence in product or document authentication.
Payne Security's covert & forensic technical approaches include:
- Single and multicolour UV print
- IR inks and print
- Colour and UV microtext
- Taggant Authentication
- Molecular markers
With a comprehensive range of solutions – from inks to lacquers, laminates to labels, tapes to threads – we can help you to meet the security challenges you face.
