Scope of the Role:
We have two opportunities for innovative electro-mechanical design engineers to work at the cutting edge of technology. One role involves significant overseas work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In this forward looking role, you will investigate and develop new application equipment to meet strategic goals. Keeping right up at the cutting edge, you will evaluate new technologies, help to improve the quality of existing application systems, and produce engineering designs that are in line with current global standards. There is an important support element too, providing technical back up to sales engineers and design support to capital projects. You will also contribute to new product development.

Key Skills and Attributes:
With a degree or equivalent in mechanical/electrical engineering, you must have working knowledge of 3D AutoCAD packages, especially Inventor, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.

Experienced in a similar role involving packaging machinery design, you must be innovative and capable of transferring designs from concept through to production. A capable project manager, you must be confident and comfortable in customer and supplier project meetings. Hands on experience of machine assembly, testing, installation and commissioning will be required, and you must have experience in machine control and electro-pneumatics.
